On September 7, 1940, Nazi pilots began a months-long attack on Great Britain that would eventually be called the London Blitz. Often under the cover of night, these pilots used radio signals and beams to drop firebombs on their targets... and carried out countless terrorist attacks on innocent civilians. The Royal Air Force fought back, and one of the most famous war stories in history ensued.
