Hello Shadow Walkers, welcome to another episode of The Other Side of Shadows Podcast. I am your host Bradley. I want to start off by saying thank you to all my listeners for tuning into this podcast. I have enjoyed researching all of these weird phenomena and paranormal tales that exist around the world. I used to be completely terrified of these topics because having personal experiences with these types of things can truly have your mind racing and constantly looking over your shoulder. Just as I used to do with the weather, I was always terrified when storms would approach my home. But, now that I do research on the weather and have become a certified weather spotter, I can honestly say I am more prepared than I am terrified. That is the same logic I apply to this. The more you know, the more understanding you can have. Knowledge is power as the saying goes. I plan to obtain a lot of knowledge. As we begin today’s episode, I would love to remind my listeners that if you have a story to tell, or a topic you would love to hear on this podcast, feel free to send me a message at theothersideofshadows@gmail.com I look forward to hearing from all of you as we continue on the hunt for paranormal and supernatural events and creatures with each sun rise and night fall. Now with that being said, lets dive into it. Welcome to episode 3 of The Other Side of Shadows Podcast, Urban Legends. After my last recording, I thought about what would be a great topic to discuss. Sometimes I have trouble with trying to find interesting things to research that don’t repeat what I have already read. There are only so many keywords you can type in to google search before things become repetitive. As I sat in front of my computer, I remembered a book that my older brother gave to me when he was cleaning out his personal library. I remember when he first read this book. He loved each story that was in it. It always fascinated him. And one story that always stuck with me was the story of The Jersey Devil. We will get to that legend momentarily. These stories I am going to comb through are from a book called Alligators in the Sewer and 222 other Urban Legends by Thomas J. Craughwell. I won’t be reciting these stories word for word, it will be more paraphrasing. The Cursed MummyThe Ghost PilotThe Jersey DevilThe Phantom Warning
