# 112 An eye for one of a kinds with Kjiirt Jensen
We meet our next guest, Kjiirt, a cartoonist at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in a small room after the side named after the great American Ethan Allen. Kjiirt has a very calming presence about him. He’s a very intentional person who ultimately ended up in Montpeliar. He sold his car and now works in the local co-op. He shares how he really loves the co-op because everybody comes through the co-op in the town and they buy the food there you see what they eat people pay their bills. They’re at the co-op so he really gets to see the ebbs and flows of the community, and in this intention of life with no car, and walking to and from work. You could begin to imagine that this would be quite a boring life, but his analogy is quite powerful. He talks about how he loves the small town because everyone is unique. Everyone is one of one. There are groups of people that are like this or hundred people like that everybody he meets is 100% unique and he enjoys that about living in a community like this, and he shares a story of the Wizard of Oz where if it’s not in your backyard, it doesn’t exist and in that framework you live in the wonderment of each day with the simplest of things and everything that’s in front of you. With Sheri’s like this, you just know that the interaction with The Jar is going to be great so tune in to hear more of how he approaches life.
