We meet our next guest, Laurie Crummet Tranton in a cute little public library outside of Augusta. Laurie is a great storyteller, and she's had such an interesting life full of stories worth telling. We start off the conversation with Laurie sharing that she was raised to be a strong man woman, and this is a story about her ultimately fulfilling that mantra. You’d never know by looking at her CV today her accomplishments that she failed out of her first year of college that she managed food service at schools for 15 years and she left that to pursue a career in education getting back to school and becoming so voracious at it and she went from degree to masters to doctors to a teacher mentoring fellowship. Laurie is the kind of teacher you have that you remember for life, the one that stand's out among the hundreds and not because she’s professional or she’s great at what she does but because she does it with passion and it’s her purpose. It gives her joy and all of those things come through in our conversation. Listening to here Laurie, the beautiful storyteller share hers through the jar. For behind the scenes content of the making of The Jar, meet the guests, see some footage of unreleased podcast episodes and more visit : https://www.youtube.com/channe....l/UCaTqB1dhDvl0Oh505 be a guest on the show email us at thejarguest@gmail.com or visit our webpage : https://www.thejar.live/Follow The Jar on Instagram : https://www.instagram.com/thejar_podcast/Follow The Jar on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/podcast.thejarDisclaimer: The views stated in this episode are our guest's opinions and do not represent the views, beliefs or opinions of The Jar Podcast.
