Annie Hamilton is an Adored Eora/Sydney-based musician, visual artist and designer. In May of 2022 Annie released her long-awaited debut album, the future is here but it feels kinda like the past. Synthetic yet raw, polished yet organic, digital yet gritty, Annie Hamilton’s debut studio full-length hangs suspended in time, cast between a past that is irrecoverable and a future that is seemingly never arriving. This episode I chat with Annie about the dreamworld that is her debut album. We discussed her alter ego Hannie Amilton, getting existential in music, playing the upcoming Wanderer festival and wearing wearing glittery bat wings on stage.
