We are honored to meet our next guest, Renee Hollar, at her cozy apartment in Flour Bluff, just outside Corpus Christi, Texas. Despite the warmth of her smile and friendly personality, Renee's life has been incredibly complex and challenging, with struggles she has faced and overcome.Renee's journey began in Gainesville, Texas, at around 4 and a half years old, when her parents divorced. She went to live with her father and his new wife, but the connection with her stepmom never truly formed, leaving her with a sense of abandonment and unrequited love. Holding onto this traumatic secret for a long time, she eventually shared it, only to find her trust broken and her pain dismissed. At 16, Renee married her sweetheart and became pregnant, but the relationship turned abusive, leading her to escape back home. Renee describes herself as a rebel who didn't want to conform or fit in; she lived a goth lifestyle and even experienced homelessness in Los Angeles. Throughout her story, she realizes that many of her life's difficulties were consequences of her own choices. She deeply regrets some of the decisions she made and urges others to learn from her experiences. In addition to raising six children, Renee also had a couple of abortions. She shares a poignant encounter she had at a clinic, which had a significant impact on her life and opened up a spiritual door for her. This encounter brought about positive changes, providing Renee with peace as she reflects on her life.We join Renee and The Jar in listening to this beautiful and powerful story of a life filled with chaos and struggles, but also resilience and growth. Renee's journey through motherhood has been filled with challenges, but she has taken ownership of her past mistakes, and she now embraces the present For more of The Jar, visit:Website: https://www.thejar.live/Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaTqB1dhDvl0Oh505ysdxTgFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/podcast.thejarInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/thejar_podcast/Disclaimer: The views stated in this episode are our guest's opinions and do not represent the views, beliefs or opinions of The Jar Podcast.
