#40 Being a great entrepreneur means being a great operator.
Being a great entrepreneur has nothing to do with having a great idea or an amazing product. In this episode Devon Dickinson shares how execution, evolution and operation is what it takes to be a great entrepreneur. Many great ideas have failed miserably because the people are terrible at running or operating the business. Entrepreneurialism is leadership, you must have a business plan and good operators that can evolve in order for the business to operate successfully. If you want to be a great entrepreneur, you have to be a great operator.
Devon Dickinson is the Whiteboard Entrepreneur who gives straightforward advice to fuel the entrepreneur in ALL of us! Pursuing your dreams can be fun, rewarding and tough, so you need fuel in your tank each week to help you avoid failures and take action.

Bio:
I’m Devon Dickinson. I've been married for 25 years and have a family of 6. I've founded, bought, sold, and sometimes failed with 10 different companies. I'm pretty sure as an individual entrepreneur my companies have been on the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list longer than any other individual. I enjoy investing in real estate and I've coached soccer for the last 6 years; which seems to be what keeps me up at night. Although I now own several multimillion dollar companies, I only started with $5,000 and a credit card. I should warn you before we get started that though this is all true... I don't know the easy way in anything I only know “the hard way”. I want to help you avoid learning the hard way (where you can) through straightforward advice that will fuel the entrepreneur in ALL OF US!
