She has spent the past decade helping survivors of sex trafficking, developing educational programs on childhood trauma, its impact on the developing person, and dissociative identity disorder. She has earned a bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s degree in public administration, both from the University of Michigan, and is currently earning her Ph.D. in Psychology.Amy is the author of Human Trafficking 101: Stories, Stats, and Solutions; Write Your Story: A Guided Journal for Healing Trauma; and Him, Me, and V.
