We have all had a time or perhaps many times when someone we know was very unkind to us, said hurtful things, or worse yet, engaged in harmful actions that caused us great pain. When those things happen, we are upset; we could become depressed. And it affects us in many ways, like developing poor job performance, drifting away from those who love us, and even abandoning the Lord. But it works both ways.
