Brittany McLaughlin, Jellyfish Education Coordinator for Save Barnegat Bay, discusses efforts by the Ocean County non-profit and its partners to try and reduce the increasing population of bay nettle and clinging jelly fish in Barnegat Bay. Residents in the Green Island section of Toms River, Berkeley Shores, and Shore Acres in Brick and being asked to volunteer to allow the SBB team to come in and scrape their floating docks and bulkheading that jelly fish attach to to reproduce, to see whether it can decrease the population.
