Chocolate Dessert
If you're in the mood for some tasty dessert, look no further. In this week's episode, we interview Ella Pegan and discover the secrets of her favourite childhood dish, Chocolate Dessert!
CHOCOLATE DESSERT RECIPE Batter Ingredients
1 cup of flour
3/4 cup of sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of milk
1/4 cup of melted butter
Topping Ingredients
1 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of melted butter
4 tablespoons of cocoa powder
1 3/4 cups of water
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in a bowl
Once mixed, add milk and melted butter. Combine until the mixture turns thick and light brown.
Spread mixture on an 8-10 inch brownie pan.
In a separate bowl, combine sugar, melted butter and cocoa powder. Mix until it becomes a thick, grainy mixture.
Spread topping on top of batter.
Pour water into the brownie pan, over the entire mixture.
Put pan in the oven and bake for 45 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
Serve right away.
