Remember during the Super Bowl when everyone in the sports world seemed to support cryptocurrency? Steph Curry and Tom Brady were telling us how easy it would be to get into the crypto space, even though they're new to it. Turns out, not understanding how something works is a great way to lose money. Now, with FTX crashing and burning, people are panicking. And the Miami Heat play in an arena named after the defunct crypto exchange. Athletes including Odell Beckham Jr. and Andre Iguodala have signed Bitcoin deals in lieu of a traditional money salary, and that hasn't worked out well. We also cover probably the greatest contract of all time: Bobby Bonilla's deal with the Mets. He's still making money from it and he last played for the team more than two decades ago. Amazing. Plus, where does the phrase "pull no punches" come from? Do you need even more shenanigans? Of course you do! Luckily, we've got 'em over at @sportsrdumb on Instagram.
