Culpeo Minerals Ltd (ASX:CPO) managing director Max Tuesley speaks to Proactive after drilling the first hole of the phase 2 drilling programme at its Lana Corina site in the Coquimbo region of Chile. Culpeo completed phase 1 earlier this year. The second phase is "well underway" according to Tuesley, and is "off to a good start." Culpeo recently raised $2.14mln that Tuesley expects to cover the cost of the programme. Tuesley sees low global copper inventories as a boon for the world's copper miners, and believes that Chile's proven metal reserves and good export infrastructure mean it will remain central to Culpeo's operations.
