Do Ghanaian Musicians Deserve Ambassador Privileges?
An ambassador is a country's highest-ranking representative in a foreign nation with which it has diplomatic ties. They are allowed control over specific territory called an embassy and are afforded diplomatic immunity in the host country. There have been concerns raised by musicians and some industry stakeholders in Ghana that musicians must be treated like ambassadors to a country and given certain privileges like a ‘Diplomatic Passport’ since their works, in a way, promote the country internationally. Music is one of the major tools used to promote the identity of a country. Musicians travel the world with their songs and perform to entertain and influence people from different cultures. Former French Ambassador to Ghana, Anne Sophie has also raised the same argument in favor of the musicians and called on the government of Ghana to grant them Diplomatic Passports since they have worked better than most Ambassadors to the county. Entertainment pundit Martinezz joins us to discuss this subject. On The Show - Episode 6 Breakdown Lecture Time: Do Ghanaian Musicians Deserve Ambassador Privileges? Gist Corner: Noella gives a brief on 3 of the most viral entertainment and social stories the public is talking about online. Ur Mind Dey What you said last week - Ur Mind Dey 1. Onblack Visuals: How many men allow women to cook and clean for them and how many women ask for money from men on daily or favor basis? Sometimes some people think what worked for them is the ultimate! Hmmm 2. Edward Brenya: She's not wrong. If men are of the view that it is wrong to take up the financial responsibilities of looking after our girlfriends when we're not guaranteed marriage, why then should we oppose Kafui's view? She's right. It's not the responsibility of a girlfriend to cook or do the laundry of her boyfriend. It should be a CHOICE. 3. Quality Ange Sikafuturo: And is she lying? Ladies will cook and wash for you and you still have heart to say dont give her money till you marry her, is she not serving as a maid? Nanxix notion 4. Abigail Walter: It depends. But in other ways, it not really necessary for a lady to do all that because you are just a girlfriend not a wife. But some guys are so kind that you just have to do that for them. Please nobody should come for me 5. Western Brown: But u want ur bf to give u money and gifts right. Some ppl r sick in their head 6. Benjamin Sey Hayes Usher: Stop confusing people 7. Nahnah Akhua Boakyewaa: I don't agree with her to some extend. I was once with a man who thought because i don't cook or clean for him,i didn't love him. To some men, doing some chores for them make them feel loved. 8. Michael Acheampong: Don't wash and clean you'll see. Washing, cleaning and cooking says a lot about the woman. Question: My Girlfriend Wants To Break Up With Me Because She Says I Don’t Post Her Enough. My girlfriend of 2 years wants to break up with me because she says I don’t post her enough on social media. I am 32 years and she is 27. I don’t know why she is obsessed with social media posting at this time. She has fought with me many times because of this and she is now claiming that I am hiding her because I have other girlfriends. But I have taken her home to meet my family. On Thursday, she sent me a long text saying she cannot continue the relationship because i did not post her on World Girlfriend Day on Wednesday. I don’t want her to go but I’m also tired of her shallow fights and ideologies. What do I do, please help me with an advice.
