He’s the host of the “American Songster” radio show featuring conversations with musical guests prominent in American roots music genres from Steve Martin to Branford Marsalis. Flemons has toured over a million miles across America as well as internationally and has performed with artists such as Tyler Childers, Yo Yo Ma, Dropkick Murphys, Vince Gill and Billy Strings. His Grammy-nominated album, Dom Flemons Presents Black Cowboys, sparked a worldwide phenomenon, bringing the black contributions to country music and western history to the forefront of popular culture.
