Our guest is Denae Garcia from Thornton,CO.T-TOWN!!. She is a very emotional person and keeps alot of emotions to herself. Her friends called her "Deebo" because she was in and out of Jail, always fighting, always getting in to some kind of trouble. She was a single mom so the state got involved and she was on the verge of losing her kids. Her sister was able to introduce her to church where it really helped her get back her old life and the person she was and loved before the addiction. She had to cut off old friends and family who were not good for her when she needed help most. Today, she is 3 years clean on her journey in recovery. Now she works with the childrens ministry in her church. She is always open to help and talk to others who need help in addiction and recovery. Her message to anyone out there who needs help or some words of advice. "Just believe in yourself, Be honest." "Give yourself a chance, life isn't that bad."
