EP 32 - The Abysmal Spider-Man
HOW DOES IT KEEP GETTING WORSE?We were always gonna have to get here eventually. Amazing Spider-Man as a book has not been what it was since before 2007. Despite there being many massive dips in the title's history, there hasn't been one as insistently long and insistently antagonizing as the past fifteen years. From One More Day, to Slott's ten-year stay, to Spencer's run getting kneecapped, to Beyond wasting the time of Ben Reilly fans, and finally to the Wells run becoming a borderline mockery of the audience that would make Vince McMahon blush, there's a lot for us to dig into. So, tune in as Alec and Brian venture inside the cold, dark, uninviting fridge that used to be The Amazing Spider-Man.
