Ep.36 - Hot Under The Collar - Pt.10: Lord's Supper; Memorial or More
The Lords Supper, Communion, the Eucharist, under whatever name you’re familiar, has been a source of difficulty and deep contention historically in the church. From the days of the Reformation to present debates, just what Jesus meant by ‘this is my body’, and the reality of the bread and wine, has continued to occupy serious thinking minds within the church. This week the Curious team will take a deep dive into three classic understandings of the Lord’s Supper, whilst considering a fourth alternative. With an introduction into the historical tensions, the team will seek to draw clarity for the modern-day Christian in terms of this very significant sacrament.Send your questions or thoughts to: theologyforthecurious@gmail.com

Support us on Instagram @theologyforthecurious
