EP300: Georgia Bell Revisited – Why I’m Not Afraid of Change!
For this special 300th episode, Im to be joined by Georgia Bell in an episode recorded live on Facebook – a first for the HTCI podcast. Georgia first came onto the HTCI podcast back in March 2019 in an episode titled How a Small Town Hairdresser is Making a ‘BIG’ Buzz in the Industry – with Georgia Bell. It was a great episode that impressed me so much about, the then, relatively unknown Georgia Bell. We learned how Georgia’s dedication to develop herself to be the best hairdresser should could be by having bags of commitment and determination to succeed in this industry. And that she has certainly done by never being afraid to changing direction. Today she is back for this special Revisited episode. I want to catch up on her journey in the last 4 years. Stuff like how she has gone from salon owner to independent working, discussing the importance of embracing change and personal growth. She talks about the struggles of managing teams and her balancing roles, She also reveals her recent decision to become sober and emphasises the importance of family and education. Georgia’s goal is to create killer courses and inspire fellow hairdressers whilst developing herself to be the very best hairdresser she can be. The big takeaway from this conversation today is the importance of staying open to change, continue evolving, and finding new opportunities for growth. As Georgia says,”You can entertain yourself in the industry as much as you want. You can keep yourself excited by it!” So if you’re feeling stuck in the slow lane, nows the time to change lane and grow your hair career. Kickstart it by pressing the play button!
