He played for the 1952 Dallas Texans of the National Football League (NFL) before joining the Baltimore Colts in 1953. He was with the Colts until 1966, including winning back-to-back championships in 1958 and 1959. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1972. Gino Marchetti passed away in 2019 from complications from pneumonia.Back in 2014, Host Ken Crippen interviewed Marchetti for a “Where are they Now” article for the National Football Post.
