We are living in a world that is constantly "on" - even more critical, with all our distractions and externally focused behaviors to find ways to manage stress. <br/><br/>In this episode, Brooke and Noa discuss the many ways to destress, reducing the frequency of our brain braves and incorporating mantras and meditation. Meditation is "A mind-body practice in which a person focuses his or her attention on something, such as an object, word, phrase, or breathing, to minimize distracting or stressful thoughts or feelings." The idea of meditation often brings in this image of just sitting in silence, willing yourself not to think of any thoughts.
