How can this small country in the Balkans steer a course of its own towards further development? In this edition of Leaders Talk, CMG's Li Tongtong sat with Zeljka Cvijanovic, the chairwoman of the presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to discuss how her country weathered the political storm following the Dayton Peace Agreement in 1995 and slowly licked its wounds despite external interference and international interventions. Cvijanovic says #BiH looks to #China for support and cooperation, as exemplified by Sarajevo's new tram network and the Ivovik Wind Farm, an iconic Belt and Road Initiative project in the country, and welcomes Chinese investments and commerce, especially within the China-CEEC Cooperation framework. She strongly supports President Xi Jinping's three global initiatives and hails China's achievements, noting that what she saw first-hand on her trip to China left a profound impression on her.
