Fans Sending Death Threats to Players R Illegally Dumb
Recently, Minnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison fumbled the ball a couple of times in an NFL game. Also recently, Texas beat Alabama on the road. In both cases, fans were shouting death threats, spouting racial epithets, and just being complete fools. This happens across sports. Why do so many fans feel obliged to personally attack people they've never met and probably are never going to meet? You wouldn't do that directly to someone's face in a 1-on-1 setting, so why do it from behind a keyboard or in a group mob?Trash-talking can be fine and dandy, but keep it more fun. Borrow from Mr. Chi City: "What are you doing in that jersey, duuuuuuude?"Plus, Sean discusses his disdain for 80s songs at sporting events, and we quiz him on some of his favorite sports anthems. Watch him fall apart in real-time on Instagram at seanyboy_05 and sportsrdumb.
