Fighting for Joy

The longest recorded fight with gloves was between Andy Bowen and Jack Burke at New Orleans, Louisiana on April 6,1893. It lasted 110 rounds, 7 hr 19 min and was declared a no contest. Sometimes as Christians our fight against the flesh can feel similar. Constant battles can leave the Christian feeling weary, but Christ is always the answer. Knowing Him, loving Him, and being obedient to Him will lead to a deep seeded joy that no one can take away.
