The duty of forgiving offenses is one of the most difficult duties of the Christian religion. It is so contrary to our natural feelings; it implies such elevation above the petty feelings of malice and revenge, and is so contrary to the received maxims of the world, which teach us to "cherish" rather than to forgive the memory of offenses, that it is no wonder our Saviour dwells much on this duty.

Following Jesus and being a Christian takes incredible courage, for it calls us to stand up for what is right in the face of opposition. It requires for us to follow Jesus to unexpected places, unforeseen assignments, and minister to diverse groups of people. To love the unlovable, to lead the rebels, to forgive our offenders. It takes the losing of ourselves, a life that is contrary to this world and great faith to choose the JESUS WAY!

TEXT: LUKE 17:1-10
SONGS:
THE JESUS WAY, PHIL WICKHAM
RE-SURRENDER, BETHEL WORSHIP
LORD I NEED YOU, MATT MAHER, PHIL WICKHAM
REFINERS FIRE, JEREMY RIDDLE
