He is trying to wrap her head around everything and his daughter asked to spend a night at her best friend’s house and he said yes. Jay also has a sixteen year old daughter and she wants to spend a night at her boyfriend’s house and the father said no. The oldest daughter is upset that her sister gets to spend a night at her friend’s house but she can’t spend a night at her boyfriend’s house. So now she told his twelve year old daughter no and she’s mad she told him that she liked girls and won’t tell him anything anymore. He is lost on what to do so he is asking the hustlers (19:05). And Kerry Washington found out that her dad was not her biological father before she was to appear on the television show, Finding Your Roots.
