Getting support from The Breastfeeding Network
Struggling with breastfeeding? Do you know where to turn to for support? In this week's episode we welcome CEO of The Breastfeeding Network, Catherine Hine. She talks about how the charity supports mothers and breastfeeding parents at any point of their journey - whether that's during the newborn period, through toddlerhood, or when preparing to feed for the last time.

The charity is celebrating 25 years this year - and has grown a network of over 600 volunteers. They provide support in hospitals, at community drop-ins, on facebook and on the National Breastfeeding Helpline. They also have a team of volunteer pharmacists who run the Drugs in Breastmilk Service which is used not only by parents, but health professionals too.

The Breastfeeding Network Website

National Breastfeeding Helpline - 0300 100 0212 (9.30am to 9.30pm)

Facebook page for The Breastfeeding NetworkThanks for listening!
