Founder and CEO of Flow Integrative, Christi Myers, has been a Paramedic for over 17 years. Her career began in 1999, serving several agencies, including the Department of Defense, American Medical Response, Life Flights, San Bernardino County Fire and Sheriff Department, and the Department of Justice. With a seat in the front row, Christi understood firsthand the unique, invisible, and cumulative toll of witnessing indirect human trauma daily and the few support methods available for emergency response personnel's well-being. After experiencing her loss of loved ones dear to her and being directly affected by depression, Christi knew something needed to change. In 2020, Christi Myers founded Flow Integrative with a mission to normalize psychedelic therapies for growth, symptom reduction, and overall wellness for all. Christi recognizes the global mental health crisis and has a clear vision to "help the help" by providing supportive services for front-line workers and service men and women who face chronic and complex trauma in their line of work. Christi partnered with Enthea to aid her mission, making Flow Integrative the Flagship for the nation's first benefit plan administrator, working to facilitate employee psychedelic healthcare coverage. Christi wholeheartedly believes that there is a better way to treat mental afflictions outside of traditional antidepressants or medications that act more as a temporary avoidance or dismissal of our emotions rather than a cure. Under Christi's leadership, Flow Integrative has provided Ketamine Assisted Therapy to over 100 patients and has recently expanded its clinical footprint to a second location in San Mateo. Christi's passion and knowledge around the value of psychedelics, alongside her insights into human suffering, cause her to be mindful of how her clinics administer medicine, yielding protocols with gentle but effective results. Listen in as Christi and I discuss her early career as a first responder to a medical professor, the breaking point to make a difference, her mission to provide overall wellness for all, and how she found her own way to FEARLESS HAPPYNESS!
