Highlights of Ep 67 with Dawn Toledo Walsh, Latina Founder of Puzzle Culture, a jigsaw puzzle subscription box company
We are on our summer refresh, taking some time to chill with highlights from past episodes, giving our new listeners a cool intro to the podcast and our long time subscribers a refresh on the amazing amigas we have had on the show. Today's highlight will add the chill vibes into your summertime because that is what our fab guest, Dawn Toledo Walsh is all about: taking time away from the intensity of life, from screen time and distractions to just spend time together, or even alone, to tap into that calm healing we need regularly. Dawn shares her cultural struggles of rising through corporate life at a time when diversity was basically zero and ultimately, let her beautiful, curly hair down in reclaiming her cultural identity. After rising to VP of her division before 40!, the pandemic gave her a hard stop. She took the opportunity to start her new business, Puzzle Culture, a thematic subscription box company. Each box is filled with gorgeous jigsaw puzzles, based on artwork from women artists, and goodies that flush out the theme. Listen to her full episode here, Episode 67 Building A Joy Company, One Puzzle Piece at a Time and the article, Start the Company of Your Dreams, sharing all the resources.
