Hour 2: Don Fischer

In the second hour of The Sports Rush with Brett Rump, Brett is joined by Indiana Hoosiers Broadcasting Hall-of-Famer, Don Fischer! Don joins Brett every Monday afternoon for our weekly segment called “Fifteen Minutes with Fisch!” Although Brett and Don are discussing a Hoosiers win this afternoon, it is probably one of the most disappointing wins in recent program history, as it took 4 overtimes for the Hoosiers to get a 29-27 win against the Zips on Saturday night. We hear from Don about a bit of a conundrum where he heard from Tom Allen earlier in the week about how well the Hoosiers team had been practicing, but we then heard later in the week that Allen had to have a conversation with the team about effort at practice and there not being enough of it. Brett asks Don how much of the offensive stagnation for the Hoosiers is due to the poor performance of Walt Bell. How many more poor performances will it take for there to be some pressure for him to be out of the program? What about the Hoosiers offensive performance concerned Don the most this weekend?
