How Crows are Like People Plus AI by Auphonic – DavoShow033 Where I talk about crows and how much they are like humans. And, where I show you some “behind the scenes” of how I create this podcast. I’m always on the hunt for better ways of doing things, so today I ask… What Would Happen If You Just Let The Machines Do It? That’s the question I’m asking today by showing you the exact results of my AI based audio service, Auphonic. I’m showing you exactly what the AI machines come up with: the long summary, the short summary, the tags or keywords it thinks I should use, and finally the transcription. What Is Auphonic and How Can You Use It? Auphonic a web-based audio processing engine that I use to process my short form, audio podcast, the DavoShow. Auphonic is a big help for this short form audio project. It cleans up the audio file, It adds my intro and outro automatically, It ships the resulting data and files where I need them to go. Normally, I would edit this information before sending it out, but today I’m going to use it as an example of exactly what the audio engine does, when paired with its AI engine. You will see “My Note::” at the bottom of each section to show how I feel about the text, and what I typically do with it when I am editing. Otherwise, you are seeing exactly what Auphonic sends me. How Do I Access The Data Auphonic Gives Me? In the setup process, I told Auphonic to give me three files. An HTML file with the text you see below (with “My Note::” added to show you my opinions). An MP3 file, which is an improved edited vision of the audio file I manually send to Auphonic. A video file with the audio embedded. This has an animated waveform visual overlaid on the top of my podcast logo. I’m not using this video anywhere yet, but it’s nice to have in case I want to post it in the future. What you see below is a copy and paste from the HTML file in my Auphonic results folder. Here are the steps I use to get it to the podcast notes (that you are reading right now!). Open the “Auphonic Results” folder in Dropbox Open the .html file in my browser. Click the text, Select All > Copy > then Paste it into my preferred text editor, which is currently the beautiful Apple based Bear.app. I normally edit it, as needed. I’m not doing that today so you can see the full results and how I typically use it. Here’s the Data that Auphonic Sent Me David Bourne’s Short Audio Show<br /> 2023, David Bourne
