This show is for you, the top-performing men. You are the founder, executive, or entrepreneur who faces unique challenges in an ever-shifting leadership landscape. This show is about how to rest, chill, and create margin, space, and a better sense of well-being. Both Angus Nelson and Tim Clay hosted this previous show. Let’s make your lives easier and more satisfying and recreate them through well-deserved rest.Consistent bedtime routine - The term recreation is about creating ourselves despite the responsibilities and workload but recharging and turning out from unnecessary stress and all the negative stuff. How we should rest and go even faster in the future is essential. Some think, “If I don’t do anything, I’m worthless.” But it is ok for you to have some time to lie down. You should permit yourself to relax. After having a quality rest, you can have a series of good ideas and possibilities coming to your mind. Therefore, rest a while and recreate yourself. Rest is productive. It’s like a bow and arrow; when you pull the needle and strain it, you may feel like you are going backward. But relaxation will launch you forward with much more velocity the following day since your mind is clear and your body is ready. Making that margin makes magic happen. It gives you the ability to have better clarity, objectivity, and the possibility to reach new goals and tackle challenges. According to experts, 20 minutes power nap is excellent for focusing effectively. You can recreate yourself by redirecting your effort, focus, and values toward rest.Suppose you are in a place where you cannot turn off your work. In that case, it affects you physiologically and psychologically and has another negative impacts like poor sleep, work-family conflict, and psychosomatic symptoms. Psychosomatic symptoms are like being overactive, over energetic and can be habitual. These symptoms spill into your coping mechanisms, behavior patterns, and overly focused-perfectionism. Although we may feel massive business success, reduced job satisfaction, life satisfaction, and work performance will always prevail without the essential rest. Since your life is only centered around work, you gradually start to miss your meals, and nothing is felt about missing them. However, after some time, your body starts showing symptoms like high blood pressure and cholesterol. The elements you need regularly to protect your life, your family life, and your well-being should be focussed. Any overused strength becomes a weakness. Therefore, unless you turn it off or don’t let it go without getting a rest, you will eventually get anxiety, stress, burnout, and all negative things. Practice mindfulness - Bedtime routines are good. Taking a walk or reading a book will slow your brain down. Meditation can be practiced as a daily habit. You can relax your body and mind through guided meditation. Tapping on specific body parts like the head and eyebrows can be effective.Scheduling fun- Most of the great ideas come to mind while participating in something other than the work. So the concept of mindfulness is essential while enjoying the moment. Creating time for fun with the community while sharing your thoughts, experiences, and life will help you to connect with people. Thinking time – Scheduling time for dreaming and wondering about possibilities in life is essential. When trying to solve a problem, you’re choking off an opportunity and creativity. Music and a stimulating atmosphere are essential. You can write whatever comes to your head and dive back to your work refreshed. You can put your mobile phone aside and use certain apps to demotivate you from using it for a while. Through doing that, you can motivate and persuade your kids to use their mobile phones less frequently. Having a “me time” and being able to do that is life-giving. Having a creative hobby releases the pressure and freshens up the mind. Having a trusted third
