How understanding God's character changes our parenting with Ruth Chou Simons
You know that friend who you can go to coffee with and after an hour or two together, you just feel lighter? That’s the type of friend that I’m pretty sure Ruth Chou Simons is. She is joining me on the podcast today and I know you will leave feeling refreshed, encouraged, filled with the Holy Spirit, and a little bit lighter.
Ruth is a bestselling and award-winning author of several books and Bible studies. She is an artist, podcaster, speaker, a wife, and a mom of 6 boys. Her latest book is Pilgrim: 25 Ways God’s Character Leads Us Onward Ruth is so gentle in her encouragement and her wisdom. She reminds us of our need for God and that we are not meant to feel at home here on earth because we are pilgrims on a journey to a deeper relationship with Jesus. We also talk about how our job as parents is to steward our time with our kids in a way that honors God, why we often strive for control and perfection, the importance of sitting in God’s word, and how we can slowly grow into what God calls us to do.
I hope you love this conversation with Ruth.
