Injuries Are The Greatest Teachers with Olympic Bronze Medalist, Caroline Burckle
Have you been chronically injured, sick, exhausted, aggravated? Caroline Burckle competed on the biggest stage in sports and still felt like she wasn’t good enough, had low self worth and kept pushing even though her body was literally breaking. In this extremely candid and relatable conversation, Caroline shares about how she overcame imposter syndrome and chronic injuries to finally give her body, mind and spirit what it needed to heal. Spoiler alert…it wasn’t doing more!Carolines Bio: Caroline is an Olympic Medalist, Entrepreneur, and Artist. Born and raised in Louisville, KY, she was competitive swimmer throughout her early life. She then took that and went to to University of Florida on a Swimming Scholarship and became an NCAA Champion before making the Beijing Olympics, where she earned a Bronze Medal. When she retired from sport, the real inner work began. She went on to get her Masters in Sport Psychology from University of Tennessee, and her Associate of Arts in Merchandise Product Development from FIDM in LA. In 2015, she and her Olympic Medalist business partner Rebecca Soni began a youth athlete mindset development program, and successfully ran that for 8 years. She currently resides in Redondo Beach, CA, where she is starting a new business, swimming, hiking, lifting weights, and exploring the depths of the mind/body experience on a daily basis.carolineburckle.cominstagram caroburckleFor more information or to sign up for Somatic Therapy or Creative Expression for Kids, head to https://www.powerofyourom.com/classschedule--Links & resources:
