Is The Gen AI Market Ahead Of Itself? Yes, It Is. And That’s Perfectly Ok.
In this podcast I discuss the continued growth and confusion in the Generative AI market, and explain how the "AI stack" is still immature, making it difficult for application vendors to deliver on the promise quite yet. It means that you, as a business and HR leader, have to focus your imagination on real-world use cases and guide the vendors in the right direction. As with any new technology platform, this massive shift will take time and the shakeout has yet to occur. Google's announcements this week (coupled with AWS last week and Meta the week before) show how big and early the space still is, with many unlimited opportunities ahead. I also discuss the triad of strategies you need to succeed in this new age: a dynamic organization that can adapt to new ways of working; a leadership model that focuses on human-centered business issues first, execution second; and an HR function that operates in a new, strategic, Systemic way. I will be covering more of this at our special event at the HR Technology Conference in Vegas and at Unleash in Paris. Listen in and send me your comments.
