The BKyard Boogie community event series is making its debut in Chicago on June 24. Founded in Isaac Ziman’s Brooklyn backyard in 2018, BKyard Boogie is now a nationwide event series bringing together local artists to showcase their talents within their community. Ahead of Saturday’s event, Vocalo’s Jesse De La Peña (one of the featured DJs at BKyard Boogie Chicago) got the chance to chat with Ziman, AKA DJ Sir Isaac, about the series and what attendees can expect from its Chicago debut. This interview was edited and produced by Jesse De La Peña. To learn more about BKyard Boogie, visit bkyardboogie.com.
