Jim Fielder was the bassist and an original member of Blood Sweat & Tears, one of the seminal bands of the rock era which introduced a horn section to the traditional rock lineup. Before that he was with Tim Buckley, Buffalo Springfield and Frank Zappa’s Mothers Of Invention.
