Infielder Coco Montes rejoined the Albuquerque Isotopes about a week ago and has made an immediate impact, reaching base safely in 11 of his 20 plate appearances, including the go-ahead, two-run single in Saturday's 4-2 victory at Oklahoma City. Montes reflected on getting told he was going to the majors leagues for the first time, his memorable debut, the patience he's displayed (nine walks in five games) since his return to Triple-A, and the new winning vibe around the Isotopes.The Albuquerque Isotopes are the Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.
