Lauren is a retired computer technician who spent the bulk of her career at IBM, where she eventually transitioned. She was transgender in an era when that word didn’t exist and she found little to no information about the subject. It wasn’t until the advent of the internet that she discovered that being trans was a thing and found others with common experience. Now at 71, after 26 years of HRT and 25 years of transition, she proudly looks back on a life well-lived.
