In this short chapter of six verses, God finds a way to humble Isaiah, so that he can learn how to rely upon Him. Likewise, we need to learn how to exercise our faith and follow the promptings we are given by the Holy Ghost.Alma 32:21: "And now as I said concerning faith— a faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye b hope for things which are c not seen, which are true."Hebrews 11:1: ""Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."Even God uses faith in creating worlds without end: "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." Hebrews 11:3For a detailed discussion of faith as the "moving cause of all action," See Joseph Smith's Lectures on Faith, Lecture No. 1. Go here to study and ponder it.
