She is Head of the Diabetes in Pregnancy Program at Mount Sinai Hospital and an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto’s Department of Medicine. Dr. Feig’s work aims to improve the standard of care for pregnant women with pre-existing and gestational diabetes. This episode discusses the topics of glycemic targets throughout pregnancy, taking second-generation basal analogues during pregnancy, and the use of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) to improve outcomes for pregnant women with diabetes.
