NT Introduction: Philemon

This letter is one of the most personal letters of Paul. He deals with an awkward situation in a home. He declares the gracious work of God to save a rebellious slave, but also challenges a friend to welcome back this new believer that had caused problems. It is wonderful picture of the churches opportunity to reconcile people to one another in Christ.
