OS 1287: In The Wake of Idalia
Obviously, the big story of the week was Hurricane Idalia, and all the devastation she caused across Florida and into Georgia. We also felt the affects, and everyone knows how hurricanes can turn everything around in the woods and the water. Capt. Kevin and Capt. Kirk talked about that, with Jeff checking in from his property in Georgia to add his two cents. In other news, the guys mourned the passing of Jimmy Buffett and gave everyone a chance to be a Parrothead for a little while. Here’s your L.V. Hiers gear tip of the week: If you are cutting trees and limbs at your property because of wind damage from the hurricane be sure to dump the gas and run the chain saw dry to keep it running good. Any gas/oil mix left in it gets gummed up quickly if it’s put away. Here’s your Ring Power CAT tip of the week: As you can only imagine, a lot of people need help after Hurricane Idalia hit.
