In this episode of the PCPS, Khelek & Sooth go back to days when dragons roamed the skies, and the Jötunn ruled the bogs. One Jötunn in particular catches our eye...Grendel. Was he merely a man, a monster, or a myth? The classic Epic dates back to the 6th century BCE, but to really learn what was going on, we have to dive deeper, and explore the writings of someone who was actually there! Ibn Fadlan is the author of "Eaters of the Dead," which purportedly was a first hand account of the epic tale. We explore what he witnessed, we give our interpretations, and invite you to listen in, and come up with your own theories!
