Parashat 38 Korach In English

Korach induces a mutiny by challenging Moshe's leadership and handing over the Kehuna (Ministry) to Aaron. Dathan and Aviram, and 250 distinguished members, offer the holy ketoret (incense) to prove that they are praiseworthy of the Ministry. The earth opens up and swallows them, while fire consumes the ketoret (offerings). His rod miraculously blooms with almonds, and his designation as Sumo kohen is from Heaven. Elohim indicates the laws of teruma (offerings) of each harvest of grain, wine, and olive oil, all the firstborn of sheep and cattle, along with other specific gifts given to the Kohanim.
