Partnership in the New Paradigm
Have you ever heard of the 80/20 in relationship/partnership? It's a theory that states we can only get 80% of our wants and needs from a healthy relationship while the remaining 20% - you need to provide for yourself. I call bullsh*t. That number should really be flipped the other way around. We should be expecting about 80% of our wants and needs to be met by ourselves and maybe 20% to be met by our partners. I believe the opposite breeds co-dependency. We are living in a time where we are being asked to fully show up in our lives in a way that has never been asked of us before. That journey to having the courage to do so requires shadow work, leaps of faith, and an insatiable thirst for self-mastery. In order to fully step into the highest expression of ourselves and our lives, we must be in relationships and partnerships that fully support us. If we are each consistently working on ourselves, we step into a new place in our partnerships where we don't NEED the other the way we used to. When we are bringing our FULL selves to the relationship, we are in Sacred Union. No longer are we having to sacrifice our soverignty for that of another. We are able to each show up as our full selves with our cups full. Completely independent and not co-dependent on the other to make us happy or fill our cup. That is the old way. I dive deep into this topic and much more!
