PollyannaR - Morwell
PollyannaR (she/her) is a rebellious social justice artist who lives in Gippsland and moves fluidly between all of the letters in LGBTQIA+.In this episode, PollyannaR shares about her artistic practice and the community she has created and found within Gippsland. She speaks to some of the challenges within the area, particularly during the plebiscite. She has completed several powerful projects which generally focus on capturing portraits of significant members of the community, particularly focussing on queer people and those living with disability. PollyannaR reflects on the change that she has both seen and affected in Gippsland over the last few years and expresses where she see things still need to improve.
