Predestined

God has appointed a people to be conformed to the image of his Son, to the praise of the glory of his grace. Paul begins the chain of divine acts with the foreknowledge and foreordination of God. We see this in Ephesians 1-4, where the same apostle makes clear that God has chosen his people in Christ from before the foundation of the world, in order that we should be holy and without blame before him in love. Everything here is soaked in sovereignty, drenched in divine grace.
