The Miami Hurricanes were looking for consistency in their second scrimmage of fall camp. Head coach Mario Cristobal says “happy” is never a word that enters his vocabulary as a coach, but he did say he is “enthused about the progress of the program.” Canes running back Ajay Allen had another big scrimmage with 91 yards on 7 carries. Tyler Van Dyke threw for 194 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception.
