Recapping Carpinteria Pride

While most of the Central Coast’s Pride events are organized by boards of adults with years of collective experience, Carpinteria Pride is uniquely set apart with high school students organizing the event entirely. While in attendance, KCSB's Daniel Huecias spoke with lead organizers Julianna Ornelas and Sam Crewdson to discuss the significance of Carpinteria Pride as a space for LGBTQ+ youth.
